This term we have recognised Bullying NO WAY Week with range of activities to highlight the importance of everyone working together to make sure that bullying is not a feature of our school or wider community.

At Hawkesdale, we are very lucky to have creatives from Melbourne, playwright, Rosemary Johns, actor/choreographer, Carolyn Myers Bock and sound and light technician, Tony Day, come to work with our students to stage our bi-annual production.
From Senior and Junior school Capatins, Student Representatives on School Council, Student Voice Leaders and Class Representatives, House Captains, Bus Captains and our Grade 6 Leaders, at our school, we develop student leadership.
Because parenting doesn't come with instructions, SchoolTV is a wellbeing resource implemented at our school to help support you in the challenges of modern-day parenting relating to youth mental health and wellbeing.

We are very happy to announce that Mr Paul Webster has been appointed Assistant Principal of our school.
Student Voice organised a special day for the last day of term 1 to honour the memory of Dolly Everett and to promote kindness and prevent bullying in our school community.
Student Voice would like to say a massive thank you to our school community for coming together to raise a grand total of $2,701.30 for our World Epilepsy Day fundraiser last term.
